Tutors - Liz Kalinowska

Liz has been involved in the practice and teaching of holistic medicine for almost twenty years. After undertaking courses in Counselling and Dietary Therapy, she decided to train in Osteopathy because of her interest in Cranial work. Towards the end of her training at the London School of Osteopathy, she became aware of Craniosacral Therapy and completed a course in London. She progressed to teaching, and spent six years at the College of Craniosacral Therapy before leaving to set up the Institute of Craniosacral Therapy with her present colleagues.

She feels her strengths in the work include a light and gentle yet grounded approach along with the ability to create a safe and enabling space for students and clients.

Liz practices Craniosacral Therapy full time in London and Surrey and is a longstanding council member of the Craniosacral Therapy Association. Her professional interests are the issues of women at all ages, and the treatment of babies and children.

Although not part of the teaching team on the present two-year training, Liz will be offering Refresher Days to students of ICS and graduates of the Institute and other trainings, and Advanced Workshops on a variety of subjects. As a founding member of the Institute, she remains deeply committed to the training and acts as a consultant and team member on all matters concerning course content and general issues relating to the Institute.

In her spare time she enjoys the arts, walking in the country, reading and spending time with her three grown up children.
